To create a system to dry lumber for home construction that was as fast as the large conventional systems. Large wood-fired systems can dry a load of lumber in a day or two, but are inefficient, burning resources and materials that could be used for other applications, and generating undesired emisions.
North Road’s Nyle division developed the Very High Temperature (VHT) system of dehumidification kilns. These systems dry AS FAST AS conventional wood or gas fired systems while improving quality and reducing emissions, and do it at low operating and low capital cost.
